    GoodPeople Homecare is looking for a compassionate Homecare staff to aid in daily living and personal care services in client’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. We hire health care assistants to visit and care for elders and young people in their own homes. We aim to promote independence and personal dignity whilst providing the highest quality of care with respect for those people requiring to use our service, within their own home and still being able to remain in control of their lives.

  • Job Responsibility

    · Provide care services in client’s home

    · Perform domestic and household tasks

    · Administer prompted medications

    · Assist with client’s personal care activities

    · Maintain clients care records and document provided services

    · Assist clients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises

    · Assist the clients and families on diet and exercise

    · Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

  • Educational Requirement

    · QQI certificate or studying Health Care

    · First Aid training

    · Valid driver’s license

    · High school degree

  • Experience Requirement

    - Ability to work as a Homecare assistant

    - Good communication skills with service users who may have some degree of communication difficulties.

    - To be able to perform basic personal care tasks necessary for day-to-day living.

    - Good housekeeping skills for light cleaning

    · Fluent English

    · Health care administration skills

    · Caring and compassionate personality

  • Additional Requirement

    All Care Givers must be Garda-vetted, and security checked.
